Clinton Township Woman Shot, Killed; Husband Arrested: Reports

A husband was arrested after his wife was found shot to death inside a Clinton Township home Thursday night, multiple reports said.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — A woman was shot to death Thursday night inside a Clinton Township home, according to reports citing police.

Officers found the woman, whom they only identified as in her 30s, shot dead inside a home on Woodward Street, in the area of 15 Mile Road and Beaconsfield Street, reports said.

The woman's husband, whom police only identified as in his 30s, was arrested in connection to the shooting, reports said. Officers also found a weapon inside the home.

The woman’s two young children were also inside the home when officers arrived, reports said.

Police said officers were responding to a domestic violence call at the home where they found the woman dead inside, reports said.

Neighbors also said the couple was in the process of getting a divorce, reports said.
