Fun Run Added to Clinton Township Halloween Activities
Wear your costume and work off some of the candy calories... (creepy clown attire discouraged).

(Originally published Oct. 10, 2016) CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — Clinton Township has added an activity to this year's Halloween festivities, and officials hope it will become a new seasonal tradition. The Costume 5K Run and Monster Mile Fun Walk will be Sunday, Oct. 23 at Clinton Township Civic Center trails and grounds.
The Costume 5K will begin at 10:30 a.m. and the Monster Mile at 10 a.m. The costume 5K will be timed with a bib chip. The Monster Mile Fun Walk is un-timed. Interested participants can also join in a warm-up at 9:30, led by Maria Marino’s Fitness Pros.
Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation Brian Kay told the Macomb Daily News that the event, sponsored by Genisys Credit Union, is a natural progression of other fitness activities promoted locally. Plus it's a way to extend Halloween events to adults.
