L’Anse Creuse High School Presents 'URINETOWN: The Musical'
"North drama club proudly presents URINETOWN: The Musical" at the John Armstrong Performing Arts Center.

From L'Anse Creuse Public Schools: North drama club proudly presents URINETOWN: The Musical on Thursday, February 23; Friday, February 24 and Saturday, February 25 at 7:00 p.m. at the John Armstrong Performing Arts Center.
URINETOWN, by Greg Kotis and Mark Hollmann, is a humorous satire that mocks everything from the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility, corporate mismanagement and municipal politics, to musicals as a genre. The story focuses on a water shortage caused by a 20-year drought, which has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity’s basic needs. Amid the people, a hero emerges who decides he has had enough and plans a revolution to lead all people to freedom.

URINETOWN, winner of three Tony Awards, is hilarious, touching and not to be missed. Tickets to the show will cost $10 for adults and $8 for students. Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling the box office at (586) 783-6520 or on-site one hour prior to each performance.
