Laborer Found Dead in Clinton Township Electrocuted: Report

The 37-year-old gutter installation worker's death was the 23rd worker fatality in Michigan this year.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — A 37-year-old man found dead last week in Clinton Township was electrocuted, the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration and township police said.

The man, a laborer for a gutter installation company, was found unresponsive inside a box truck at a Clinton Township residence on Sept. 6, The Macomb Daily reported.

The worker had a generator in the truck, and the metal acted as an electrical conduit, authorities said.

His name has not been released.
