Macomb County's Best Pizza Places Compete for Bragging Rights at the Motor City Pizza Fest: Eastside Showdown on the Evening of Wednesday, April 8
Come savor the cheesy, saucy goodness of 12 of Macomb County's best pizza places

Metro Detroiters as a whole love their pizza and this passion for cheesy, saucy goodness is particularly intense in Macomb County. Perhaps it is the large number of independently owned pizza establishments in this area. Perhaps it is the diverse demographics that define this region. Whatever it is, the excitement is building in Macomb County over the debut of the Motor City Pizza Fest: Eastside Showdown on Wednesday, April 8, from 6 pm to 10 pm, inside the special event space at Gibraltar Trade Center in Mt. Clemens.
A one evening celebration of the many varieties and flavors of pizza Macomb County has to offer, the Motor City Pizza Fest; Eastside Showdown features the pizza of 12 of the area’s best pizza places, live music, beer and wine, an extensive shopping bazaar assembled specifically for this event, children’s activities and more. Equally exciting, the participating pizza places will be competing for bragging rights in a selection of categories (i.e. best deep dish) in a juried “best of the Eastside” pizza showdown. Our six member judging panel will include local food writers and bloggers, chefs and broadcast media personalities.
Participating pizza places include Blue Collar Pizza, Detroit Style Pizza, Father and Son Pizzeria, Fired Up Wood Fired Pizza, Fred’s Pizzeria, Green Lantern Pizzeria, Marco’s Pizza, the Original Carlo’s Pizza, Passport Pizza N’ Ribs, Roger’s Roost, Vincenzo’s Pizzeria, and Wanna Pizza Me.
