Medical Marijuana A Hot Topic In Clinton Township
A meeting will be held Tuesday as a chance for residents to have their say on how the township will regulate medical marijuana.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — The clock is ticking on Clinton Township in determining how to regulate the number of medical marijuana dispensaries it will allow — if any — ahead of changes to Michigan’s law on Dec. 15. On Tuesday, township residents will get a chance to voice their opinions on the subject at an informational meeting at the Macomb Community College Center Campus, according to Macomb Daily report.
“We’ve had a committee meeting for months now studying the issue,” township Supervisor Bob Cannon said. “This is the end point of our looking into this matter. Our presenters will discuss the topic in a non-biased way.”
The presentation will be held 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at Macomb Community College’s University Center (UCI), Lecture Hall A, 44575 Garfield Road, Clinton Township. Parking is available in Lot 3 or 5B.
