Police Looking For Bathroom Peeping Tom

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — A 34-year-old man is wanted by police after allegedly setting up a camera inside a women's bathroom at a Clinton Township gym and spying on a woman changing her clothes. The Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office has issued a felony warrant for Matthew James Krakowski, of Casco, Mich.

He is being charged with capturing/distributing an image of an unclothed person, which is a five-year felony, after allegedly placing a camera in the changing room of Switch Cross Fit on Morelli Drive in Clinton Township last month.

Police say the woman was changing when she noticed a camera being pulled up through a cutaway ceiling tile around noon April 12 and reported it to police.

Authorities say the man has hired a lawyer and plans to turn himself in.
