Rover Pipeline Positive Infrastructure for Michigan
ET Rover Pipeline Helps To Keep Michigan's Economic Growth On Track
Reducing energy costs for Michigan consumers is important to ensure continued economic growth and reducing costs in energy intensive industries like manufacturing and agriculture. The proposed Rover Pipeline will create a new link between Michigan and the natural gas production areas in Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania, and bring the many economic benefits associated with low energy costs to the Wolverine State.
Approving new pipeline infrastructure is important as well as safeguarding the interests of agriculture and forestry, as rural lands are the preferred route of most pipeline projects. But when these interests work together to develop sustainable construction and operations plans, with public safety in mind, all parties stand to benefit. Rover has shown this commitment through partnership with Land Stewards, and land impact mitigation strategies individually tailored to specific tracts of land.
Rover’s approval would certainly benefit the Michigan economy, and with the company’s focus on a partnership with landowners, it deserves our support and approval.
