Teen Dies in Rollover Accident in Macomb County
The victim, the sole occupant of the 2014 Mustang, was pronounced dead at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital.

MACOMB TOWNSHIP, MI β A 19-year-old Macomb Township man was killed in a single car rollover crash about 10:40 pm. Saturday night, the Macomb County Sheriff's Office said.
The victim was identified as Garrett Dale Amey, the sole occupant in a 2014 Ford Mustang.
Police said Amey lost control of the Mustang in the vicinity of 22 Mile Road west of Heydenreich Road.

Sheriffβs deputies, with the assistance of numerous citizens, were able extract Amey from the vehicle, according to the release. He was treated at the scene by Macomb Township Fire Department and Medstar Ambulance personnel, then .was transported to Henry Ford Macomb Hospital.
He was pronounced dead at 11:04 p.m.

The roadway was closed while the Macomb County Sheriffβs Office Crash Investigation Unit responded and conducted their investigation of the crash scene.
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash, the sheriff's office said. No further information is available.
