Warren Councilman Arrested In Utica: Report

The Warren City councilman was arrested on Saturday for selling Trump-related merchandise without a permit, according to WDIV.

UTICA, MI—A Warren City councilman was arrested on Saturday by the Utica Police Department, according to a report from WDIV.

According to the report, Eddie Kabacinski was arrested in the area of Hall and Schoenherr roads for selling Trump-related merchandise without a permit.

This is not the first time Kabacinski has been in trouble with the law. In October 2020, Kabacinski was accused of handcuffing a woman who put “Black Lives Matter” stickers on a President Donald Trump campaign sight. He was charged with impersonating a police officer, which carries a one-year misdemeanor and assault and battery, which is a 93-day msdemeanor, WDIV said.

He was released from jail on Saturday and is still waiting a resolution on the 2020 charges, WDIV said.
