• Man dies after being pinned under construction truck in Birmingham (clickondetroit.com) — A 57-year-old Dearborn Heights man died Friday after being pinned beneath a construction truck he was inspecting along Redding Road in Birmingham. Police say a malfunctioning lift axle system engaged while he was checking the problem, trapping him under the vehicle. Birmingham police expressed condolences to his family as they continue investigating the tragic workplace incident.
