1 Arrested In Dearborn For Injuring Pet With Pellet Gun: Police
Dearborn Police said an investigation showed damaged property and a pet riddled with pellets fired from a BB/pellet gun.
DEARBORN, MI — One person was arrested in Dearborn on Thursday for shooting a pet with a pellet gun, Dearborn police said.
Officers said they responded to a report of "shots fired" on the 8700 block of Shaddick St. on Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m.
An investigation showed damaged property and a pet riddled with pellets fired from a BB/pellet gun, police said.

A further investigation is pending formal criminal charges, police said.

As officers were investigating, they said a neighbor experienced an unrelated medical issue.
Police said the Dearborn Fire Department responded to render aid and transport the neighbor to a local hospital for treatment.
The neighbor was listed in stable condition, police said.
