1 Arrested In Ecorse Drug Bust; Pills, Meth, Seized By Police

The Michigan State Police Metro Narcotics Enforcement Team​ arrested one person and seized more than 800 pills during an Ecorse raid.

ECORSE, MI — The Michigan State Police Metro Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested one person and seized pills, meth, cash and a gun during a drug bust in Ecorse on Wednesday, officials said.

While executing the search warrant, the police task force discovered and seized more than 800 pills, 700 of which were opioids, 400 grams of methamphetamine, a gun and $6,540 in cash, officials said.

The suspect, who was on parole during the arrest, was put in the Wayne County Jail and is expected to face charges, officials said.
