1 Dead In Dearborn Wrong-Way Crash: Police
A Taylor woman was killed in a Monday morning wrong-way crash on a Dearborn freeway, according to Michigan State Police.

DEARBORN, MI — A Taylor woman was killed in a Monday morning wrong-way crash on a Dearborn freeway, according to Michigan State Police.
The 31-year-old woman was driving a Nissan SUV south on the northbound lanes of the Southfield Freeway near Ford Road at 4:30 a.m. when the SUV struck a Cadillac SUV head-on, police said.
The Taylor woman was killed in the crash, police said.

The driver of the Cadillac, a 31-year-old Redford woman, was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was later released and expected to be OK, police said.
"Currently we are not sure how the at fault driver got on the freeway in the wrong direction or if they were impaired," Lt Mike Shaw said. "Once the autopsy is completed we will know if the driver was impaired. We may never know how she ended up on the wrong side."
