1 Injured, 1 Arrested In Dearborn Stabbing On City's West End: Police
A Dearborn man was arrested in connection to a Thursday stabbing inside a Dearborn business, police said.
DEARBORN, MI — A Dearborn man was arrested in connection to a Thursday stabbing inside a Dearborn business, police said.
Officers found a 62-year-old person covered in blood from multiple stab wounds Thursday at a local business on the 22000 block of Michigan Avenue, police said. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and expected to survive, police said.
Witnesses then directed police toward the possible suspect, who officers arrested without incident a short distance away, police said. Officers also found a knife during the arrest, police said.

Malcolm Merritt Washington, 29, was charged with assault with intent to murder, armed robbery, and assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, police said. He was placed in the Wayne County Jail without bond. His next court date is Nov. 23.
Police said there are no threats connected to the incident that may pose a danger to residents in the area, as officials continue investigating the stabbing.
