1 Shot on Crowded Dearborn Dance Floor; $1K Reward Offered

Dearborn police say multiple witnesses saw the altercation between the gunshot victim and unknown suspect; Crime Stoppers offers reward.

DEARBORN, MI – Authorities are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspects involved in a shooting at the Liv Lounge Saturday, Feb. 21.

The Dearborn Police Department said in a statement a victim sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound after getting into an altercation with another individual on a crowded dance floor of the club, located at 21961 Michigan Ave.

“Our No. 1 priority is citizen safety,” Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said in the statement. “When that becomes jeopardized, we will do everything in our power to ensure the perpetrator is brought to justice.”

Police said numerous people witnessed the shooting.
