2 Charged In Connection To Dearborn Double Shooting: Police

Khalil Elgarmi and Izeddine Elgarmi​ were charged with 16 felonies, including intent to do great bodily harm less murder.

DEARBORN, MI — Two men were charged Tuesday in connection to a double shooting that wounded two people at a Dearborn nightclub on Saturday, officials said.

Khalil Elgarmi and Izeddine Elgarmi were charged with 16 felonies, including intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, felonious assault and felony firearm, officials said.

They were arraigned before Honorable Judge Gene Hunt of the 19th District Court and issued a $15,000,000 cash bond with GPS tether should they be released, officials said.

Officers said the two men shot and wounded two people at the BT’s Gentlemen’s Club on the 14000 block of Michigan Avenue in Dearborn on Saturday morning at 12:40 a.m.

Both victims where transported to a local hospital where one was listed in critical condition while the other was released, police said.

Officers arrested both Elgarmi's several hours later at 5:00 a.m. Saturday morning after they investigated the scene, police said.

Police determined the shooting wasn't a random act of violence, authorities said.
