2 Free Homes Will be Given Away in Wayne County
As temperatures drop, heating and assistance program goes beyond the usual to celebrate 30th anniversary.

Applications will be taken until Friday, Dec. 4, for two free energy-efficient homes that will be given away by The Heat and Warmth Fund (THAW), in partnership with Wayne County through the Healthy, Safe and Warm Home Giveaway.
“This year, in celebration of our 30-year anniversary, THAW will go beyond its traditional heating and utility assistance programs and give away two single-family homes to deserving families,” Saunteel Jenkins, CEO of THAW said in a statement. “This is a holiday gift that will change a family’s life forever. It is a new beginning that provides an opportunity for long-term self-sufficiency and stability.”
