5 People Storm Dearborn T-Mobile Store, Point Gun At Employee: Police
Police are looking for a group of people who stormed a Dearborn T-Mobile store and pointed a gun at a worker before fleeing in a blue SUV.
DEARBORN, MI — Police are looking for five people in connection with an attempted armed robbery at a Dearborn storefront last Friday.
Police said five people walked into a T-Mobile store in the 5000 block of Schaefer Road at 6:45 a.m. wearing masks and carrying guns.
One person pointed a handgun at an employee, before leaving the store without taking any cash or merchandise, police said.

The masked individuals then got into a blue SUV and drove away, police said.
Officials believe the SUV is a 2015-2019 Kia Sportage.

Officials did not report any injuries in connection to the attempted armed robbery.
"We are using all resources necessary to quickly identify those involved. Although we are thankful that no one was injured during this incident, this type of behavior recklessly puts others in our community at risk. We appreciate the public’s assistance in sharing any information that can help identify these individuals and bring them to justice," Dearborn Police Commander Timothy McHale said.
