6th Annual "Glass Gardens" Exhibition at the Glass Academy in Dearborn May 16th & 17th

May 16th & 17th "Glass Gardens" - Exhibition and sale at the Dearborn studio featuring decorative glass plants and accessories

Dearborn, MI (May 7, 2015) – The Glass Academy presents the 6th annual “Glass Gardens” exhibition and sale at the Dearborn studio on May 16th & 17th from 10:00am-4:00pm, with live glassblowing demonstrations, custom orders, and decorative glass plants and accessories for the home garden.

“Gardeners and home decorators love the glass accessories,” said Michelle Plucinsky co-owner of the Glass Academy. “They are wonderful for drawing attention to an herb garden, adding a splash of color or height in a groundcover area or creating a little “pop” in an indoor potted plant.”

There will also be glass mushrooms, hanging butterflies, and decorative birds that customers love for their home garden décor.
“Glass art can create that little element of surprise – or interest,” she said, “The Percolla Reed or Glass Mushroom becomes a beacon in your garden to get you to walk over to that area.”

Experience live glassblowing demonstrations from Master Glassblowers on Saturday from 10am -4pm at the Glass Academy during this family-friendly show. Kids are welcome. Special commissions are encouraged and promoted; all items will be for sale and purchase.
Free parking and entry for this show. The Glass Academy is located at 25331 Trowbridge St, Dearborn, MI 48124
