Beaumont Children’s announces funding from Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

Funds benefit children's health programs at Beaumont Children's locations across Metro Detroit

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has announced a new round of financial support for programs of Beaumont Children’s. More than $825,000 in funding will be used to enhance pediatric programs at Beaumont Health’s Metro Detroit locations.

“With the generous support of CMN Hospitals, we have been able to fund programs, expertise and equipment to provide children with the compassionate, extraordinary medical care they deserve,” said Brian Berman, M.D., pediatrician-in-chief of Beaumont Children’s. “This latest round of funding allows us to advance medical care for the 170,000 children we treat annually, especially in the areas of neurology and maternal child health.”

Children's Miracle Network Hospitals is a national charity that raises funds for 170 children's hospitals across the U.S. and Canada. The group ensures that when a donation is made, it stays in the community, so that every dollar given goes to help local children. Since 1988, CMN Hospitals’ campaigns have raised more than $64 million for Beaumont Children’s, the only CMN partner hospital in southeastern Michigan.

Along with generous support from Beaumont team members through an annual employee giving campaign, there are donations from individuals in the community and many corporate partners that reach out to their employees and customers through fun promotions, generating large donations gathered one dollar at a time. Major corporate partners include: Costco, Rite Aid, Speedway, Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club, Dairy Queen, Kroger, Ace Hardware and RE/MAX.
