Broadway Sensation Opens Dearborn Professional Theater Season

In "Jekyll & Hyde," Linda Eder "blew the roof off the theater every night," critics raved.

Acclaimed Broadway vocalist Linda Eder will open Dearborn’s 2015-2016 Professional Theater Season later this month.

Eder, one of the featured vocalists in the Broadway hit “Jekyll & Hide,” performs at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Michael A. Guido Theater. She will be accompanied by the Dearborn Symphony Orchestra and Vanguard Voices.

In “Jekyll; & Hyde,” Eder, according to one New York critic, “blew the roof off the theater every night” with her signature renditions of “Someone Like You” and “A New Life.”

Acclaimed by industry insiders as possessing “one of our greatest contemporary voices,” Eder brings a diverse repertoire to the stage, spanning Broadway, standards, pop, country and jazz.

Tickets, priced at $49, $59 and $69, are available at the theater box office — open from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday — and on-line at www.dearborntheater.com.
