Brussels Attacks Prayer Vigil to Be Held Wednesday

Prayer vigil for victims of Brussels terror attacks added to program at annual Muhammad Messenger of Peace Symposium.

DEARBORN, MI – A prayer vigil for the victims of Tuesday’s terror attack will be held from 6:30-9 p.m. Wednesday during the already scheduled fourth annual Muhammad: Messenger of Peace Conference at Henry Ford College in Dearborn.

The Metro Detroit Chapter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, the oldest Muslim organization in the United States, condemned the attacks tragic and barbaric.

“We grieve with our fellow human beings. This wasn’t just an attack on Brussels, it was an attack on humanity itself,” Dr. Mansoor Qureshi, president of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Metro Detroit, said in a statement. “There is no basis for these barbaric actions in Islam, and we must all come together to promote peace and justice in our world.”
