Bryant Middle School Locked Down After Call About Gun Nearby
Students were not released until the police situation cleared.

DEARBORN, MI — Bryant Middle School in Dearborn was on lockdown Wednesday after police received a call that someone in the area had a gun. A spokesperson from the Dearborn Police Department told Patch they believe the call was a hoax, but investigated the matter.
“We’re not positive it’s legitimate, but we want to make sure,” said Nancy Hamood Strutz of the Dearborn Police Department
The call came in around 3 p.m. Wednesday, she said. The school was later released when authorities cleared the scene and found no immediate threat.
