UPDATE: 'Armed and Dangerous' Carjacking Suspect Captured

Angelo "Two Head" Allen may be in the Columbus, OH, area, the FBI said, announcing reward for his capture and conviction.

DETROIT, MI –Angelo "Two Head" Allen, a 34-year-old Detroit man wanted in an armed carjacking and shooting, was captured late Tuesday afternoon after the FBI asked media to circulate his police mug shots.

The FBI announced Allen's arrest Wednesday.

"They were led to Allen by a tip from a concerned citizen, who responded to media coverage of the FBI’s request for the public’s assistance," Jill Washburn, a spokeswoman for the FBI's Detroit Division said.

Allen was taken into custody, without incident, less than 24 hours after the FBI’s request went out, Washburn said.

Authorities are asking the public’s help in locating a suspect in May 16 carjacking and shooting on Goulburn Avenue in Detroit, the FBI said Monday.

Angelo “Two Head” Allen, 34, may be in the Columbus, OH, area, where his brother, Carlos Allen, was arrested on Thursday, police said.

Angelo Allen is black, approximately 6 feet, 2 inches tall and 273 pounds, with braids or longer unbraided hair.

The FBI said Allen should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call the FBI at (313) 965-2323.

HEAT (Help Eliminate Auto Theft) is offering a $2,000 reward for Allen’s apprehension on this carjacking, and up to $10,000 for auto theft related crimes.
