The Kiwanis Club of Dearborn Outer Drive invites you to participate in Charity Garage Sale 2 on April 30-May 2, 2015. Profits from this sale will go to support community service projects that directly affect children, senior citizens, and the needy. The sale will be held at 1533 Hawthorne, Dearborn, Mi. 48128 (South of Ford Road, off of Golfview). The hours are Thursday and Friday from 8:30 until @ 5:30 and Saturday from 8:30 until @ 2:00. Some of our projects include: Key Clubs (youth groups) at Dearborn High and Fordson, Safety Town, Third Grade Dictionary Project, scholarships to the Dearborn Youth Symphony, Senior Citizen Bingo Nights, and Relay for Life, just to mention a few.
The public is encouraged to contribute gently used or new items to this sale. This is a household and miscellaneous item sale, no clothing. The inventory includes: Housewares, Hardware, Indoor and Outdoor Décor, Books, Holiday, Sports and Recreation, Canning Jars, Crafts, Jewelry, Electronics, and more. If it is time to clean out your attic, basement, and/or garage, Kiwanis DOD will be happy to accept salable items through Saturday, April 25th and provide a donation slip for tax purposes.
