DEARBORN, MI — The Wayne County Health Department will administer free COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine shots to students, staff and community members at Dearborn High School on Friday, Oct. 29 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The free clinic will be held in the school's cafeteria where residents are asked to enter from the south side of the building, facing the football field. Officials are not requiring registration, but are encouraging it.
Anyone 12 years or older who is not vaccinated or those who received their second Pfizer vaccine more than six months ago are encouraged to receive the vaccine shot.

Dearborn High students who pre-register can be excused from fifth and sixth hours that day to get vaccinated.
"Since COVID vaccines became available first to district staff and then to students, we have strongly encouraged everyone who is eligible to get vaccinated against this virus," Dearborn Schools Superintendent Glenn Maleyko said. "This clinic is another way to try to keep our school community as safe as we can during a pandemic and to lessen as much as possible the damage COVID is causing to the people in our community and to the learning opportunities for our students."
