Dearborn Man, 19, Charged With Child Sex Crimes: Police

DEARBORN, MI — A Dearborn man is facing multiple sexual crimes involving children, Michigan State Police said Friday.

Mochtaba Ahmed Alabudi, 19, was charged with one count of child sexually abusive activity, four counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and five counts of using a computer to commit a crime.

Investigators believe Alabudi may have distributed illicit content on the internet and enticed others to commit self-harm.

Officials searched his home and seized digital evidence, according to police.

Police did not share any other details about the investigation.

Police encouraged parents to speak to their children about safe use of the internet.
