Dearborn Police Make Arrest In Cell Phone Store Break In: Police
Officers said the suspect broke into a cell phone store in the area of Warren and Greenfield roads Monday morning and stole several items.
DEARBORN, MI — Police said they've arrested the person who broke into a cell phone store in Dearborn and stole several items.
Officers were called to a breaking and entering alarm at a cell phone store near Warren and Greenfield roads Monday morning. The door had been forced opened and multiple items were missing, but there was no suspect, police said.
Investigators reviewed security footage and figured out what the suspect was driving.

Officers shortly thereafter pulled the vehicle over near Michigan Avenue and Wyoming Road, and found evidence from the cell phone store, police said. The driver was arrested.
Police haven't identified the driver but believe the suspect could be involved in similar thefts in other towns, police said.

"I’d like to recognize our night shift officers' outstanding work," Dearborn Police Chief Issa Shahin said. "Through their diligent investigation and working together as a team, they were quickly able to identify a suspect vehicle, locate the vehicle, and arrest a suspect in this incident. No matter the time of day, our officers stand ready to respond to any incident."
