Dearborn Police Seek Man Who Dropped Off Gunshot Victim At Hospital

Police believe the man may have information about what happened, helping the ongoing investigation, officials said.

DEARBORN, MI — Police are looking for a man who dropped off a person with gunshot wounds at a Dearborn hospital Sunday morning.

Police said the man dropped off the wounded individual at 5 a.m. at Henry Ford Hospital Fairlane in Dearborn, where he underwent surgery and was listed in critical condition.

Police believe the man may have information about what happened, helping the ongoing investigation, officials said.

"Speaking with this individual is important and will help our investigators have the best opportunity to bring justice to whoever is responsible for this violent act," Dearborn Police Chief Issa Shahin said. "This is an active investigation and further details will be released at a later date."
