Dearborn Police Will Be Collecting Charitable Gifts

The donations are part of the Marine Corps "Toys for Tots" campaign.

DEARBORN, MI — The Dearborn Police Department said Monday it will be accepting unwrapped new toys on behalf of this year’s “Toys for Tots” campaign.

Dearborn police officers will be standing in front of the police station on Monday, Dec. 6 from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. collecting the toys. The officers and Chief Ronald Haddad will be joined by several Marines.

The Police Department lobby will also be open for gift drop off. Cash contributions will also be accepted. The department will be collection the donations until Dec. 15.

The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is an organization dedicated to bringing the Christmas spirit into homes that are suffering from the scourge of poverty.
