Dearborn Ranked Best Christmas Town in Michigan

Dearborn is more festive that Frankenmuth, home of the world-famous Bronners Christmas Store that has every Christmas ornament you’ve ever thought of and many you haven’t.

Henry Ford’s hometown topped swanky Mackinac Island, Traverse City and even a town called Christmas. As bright as Rochester is — and Rochester gets dolled up and drenches its downtown in twinkling lights every holiday season — Dearborn tops the list of the nine best Christmas cities in Michigan, according to the editors at the website onlyinyourstate.com.

What gives Dearborn the edge? The editors said:

“Greenfield Village at the Henry Ford Museum is fun all year around. During the holiday season, it gets even better, with a unique lantern-lit adventure through a living snow globe filled with skating, fireworks and live music. Festivities take place Dec. 4-5, 11-13, 17-23, and 26-27. This is a ticketed event so make sure you plan accordingly.”
