Request forms available at the Dearborn Administrative Center.

DEARBORN, MI – Registered voters can request absentee ballots for the Nov. 8 election from the Dearborn City Clerk’s Office through Saturday, Nov. 5. That request needs to be made in person at the Clerk’s Office in the Dearborn Administrative Center (DAC), 16901 Michigan Avenue from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, until Nov. 4.

The request form is also available at www.cityofdearborn.org. Search for “absentee voter.”

The Clerk’s Office in the DAC will also be open on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to a press release from the City of Dearborn. Anyone receiving an absentee ballot from the Clerk’s Office in the DAC through Nov. 5 may also vote and turn in the completed ballot in the same visit to the DAC.

Otherwise, completed absentee ballots may be delivered to the Clerk’s Office until Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 8 p.m.

Michigan offers limited scenarios that allow absentee voting. Registered voters can request an absentee ballot if they are over 60 years old or unable to attend the polls in person on election day due to travel, disability, religious concerns, election work out-of-precinct, or incarceration.
