A passing motorist stopped to assist the victim after she jumped from the trunk. She was taken by ambulance to Henry Ford Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspects fled after the woman escaped, but were apprehended in the city of Warren Wednesday, police said.

They have not yet been charged pending review by the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office.
