Driver Killed In Dearborn Crash: Police
Police said the man was driving east on Michigan Avenue near Greenfield Road when he drove through the intersection, striking utility poles.
DEARBORN, MI — A 30-year-old Detroit man was killed in Dearborn on Sunday morning after crashing his SUV, Dearborn Police said.
A 27-year-old woman from Detroit was also in the Chrysler Town and Country and was transported to a local hospital where she is listed in stable condition as of Monday afternoon, officials said.
An investigation determined the man was driving eastbound on Michigan Avenue near Greenfield Road when he drove through the intersection, striking utility poles and a tree, officials said.

Officials believe speed and intoxicants contributed to the crash.
"This was truly a tragic incident where a life was lost," Dearborn Police Chief Issa Shahin said. "On behalf of the entire Dearborn police department, I send my condolences to the victim’s family."
