Fair Lane Music Guild Concert

The Fair Lane Music Guild is delighted to open the season at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, with the Chamber Soloists of Detroit.  Bryan Kennedy (French horn) and Detroit Symphony Orchestra Associate Concertmaster Kimberly Kaloyanides Kennedy are partners in life as well as in music…and it shows!  Joined by pianist Pauline Martin, the talented couple will perform the hauntingly beautiful Horn Trio by Brahms.   Also included are works by Mozart and Strauss… with a surprise or two in store!  The elegant dessert table is sponsored by Chancellor Daniel Little.

Join the Fair Lane Music Guild as it celebrates the 150th anniversary of Henry Ford’s birth.  (Mr. Ford was born in Dearborn on July 30, 1863.)  Each Fair Lane Music Guild concert this season will connect in some fashion to Mr. Ford’s love of music.  The Henry Ford Estate is currently closed for renovations, but thanks to the generosity of the University of Michigan-Dearborn and the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House, the Fair Lane Music Guild is being allowed to use the Pool Room for these concerts.

All Fair Lane Music Guild concerts are held at the Henry Ford Estate – Fair Lane, on the campus of the University of Michigan-Dearborn, 4901 Evergreen Road, Dearborn, MI  48128.  Tickets are $15/person, $14 for senior citizens and $9 for students.  Free lighted parking.  For more information about season tickets or individual concert ticket sales, please call the Fair Lane Music Guild at (313) 593-5330, or go to http://flmg.umd.umich.edu/
