BREAKING: Fatal Shooting Reported After Fender Bender at Home Depot

Detroit police are seeking a 30- to 40-year-old male driving a silver Chevrolet Silverado.

A 42-year-old man is dead after he was fatally shot after a fender bender in a Home Depot parking lot Monday morning, Detroit police said.

The unknown suspect, a 30- to 40-year old man who was driving a silver Chevrolet Silvardo, shot the man about 10:30 a.m., The Detroit News reports.

The shooting occurred outside the Home Depot on Meyers Road between Seven Mile Road and Margareta Avenue.

“They both pulled out of the parking lot and the suspect drove up to the passenger side (of the victim’s vehicle),” Officer Keisha Beasley-Dorsey said. “He fired two shots into the vehicle, striking the victim.”

Police are continuing their investigation.
