Group, Quiet Study Rooms Available for Use at Henry Ford Centennial Library

The newly renovated rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

With summer renovations complete, the Dearborn Public Library announced recently that three group study rooms and one quiet study room are now available for use at the .

Located on the Mezzanine Level, the group study rooms can hold 8-10 people, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Library Director Maryanne Bartles said earlier this month at a Library Commission meeting that the rooms were already beginning to be used even before their "official" opening. She feels the new use of space fits in perfectly with the library system's always-changing purpose.

The quiet study room has space for individual study at tables or at study carrels. All study carrels have duplex outlets available for plugging in laptops or other devices, and all rooms on the mezzanine are wireless enabled.

Internet access is available free with a Dearborn Public Library card, or by purchasing an Internet day pass for $2.

Those interested in using the group and quiet student rooms can obtain more information at the Information Desk on the second floor of the HFCL.

There is also a larger conference room available for use for a per hour rental fee. This room has a capacity of 25-30 people, depending on set up. Please contact Library Administration at 313-943-2037 for more information about booking the conference room.
