Find us off of Golfview between Outer Drive and Ford Road!
All profits from this event go to local community projects that support youth, the elderly, and those in need: Safety Town, Dearborn and Fordson Key Clubs,Youth Scholarships, Dearborn Symphony, Project Eliminate, The Salvation Army, Dictionary Project, Bingo for Seniors, Special Needs Bowling, Relay for Life, Gleaner's, and many more.
We will offer hundreds of donated items from Housewares, Hardware, Furniture, Décor, Books, Holiday, Sports and Recreation, Crafts, Giftware, Jewelry, Games, Tools, to Childrens Toys and more… No clothing!
DOD Kiwanis and Project Eliminate “Walk a Mile in My Shoes” Campaign
We will also be accepting your donations of used/new shoes during garage sale hours. The Kiwanis will get a portion of the profits from their resale. The money will be used to provide a series of shots that prevents mothers and babies from contracting life-threatening tetanus at a cost of $1.80 per person. For every 25 pairs of shoes collected, five lives may be saved! Time to clean out those closets and save some lives!
