League of Women Voters Forum on Aug. 2 Ballot on Dearborn Website, CDTV

Wayne County parks levy renewal and zoo millage on ballot, along with state representative and judicial races.

Dearborn, MI —Dearborn residents can learn about ballot proposals and political candidates on the Aug. 2 primary by viewing the League of Women Voters-Dearborn - Dearborn Heights forum on CDTV or online.

The forum, recorded on July 12, will run on CDTV on the following schedule:

  • 8 p.m. on Friday July 15, 22, and 29
  • 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 23 and 30
  • 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, 24 and 31

CDTV is the City of Dearborn’s government access cable channel and can be found on channel 12 on Comcast, channel 10 on WOW and channel 99 on AT&T Uverse.

CDTV programs are also available “on demand” on www.cityofdearborn.org. The League’s forum will be posted on the website starting Friday, July 15.

On the Aug. 2 ballot, Dearborn voters are being asked to renew a 3.5-mill tax levy to support city services.

Also on the primary ballot are proposals asking Wayne County residents to renew the Wayne County Parks Millage and the regional “zoo” millage.

The League’s forum includes presentations by candidates for judge for the 19th District Court and for Dearborn’s state representative seat.
