For some careers with a $100,000 or greater earning potential, you you may need only a couple of years of post-secondary training.

Please note that the jobs listed may be entry-level positions that help you get you foot in the door. Others may require experience and command top-level pay.
Computer programmer: It’s true that many programmers have college degrees, but others have taken shorter courses or programs. Employers are often looking for specific skills with programming languages. Many programming jobs are offered on a freelance basis, which means you can choose your own clients, set your own rates and decide which projects to work on. In general jobs in this field can top out around $130,000.
