Man Shot While Driving By Passenger In Inkster: Police
Police said the man was speeding when people in the car pulled out guns on him and shot him.
INKSTER, MI — A man was shot in his vehicle by a passenger in Inkster on Tuesday night, Michigan State Police said.
Police said they received a call from a man at 11:30 p.m. who said people in a Chevrolet Impala pulled out guns on him while he speeding near Middlebelt Road and Carlysle Street.
The 24-year-old man was then shot and his car came to a stop on Harrison near Hazelwood streets, police said.

Inkster Police found the car with its lights out, but did not see any passengers leaving the car, officials said.

The 24-year-old victim told police he knew the suspect who shot him. Police found the 33-year-old running away from the Impala at Glenwood Street near Middlebelt Road and arrested him.
EMS transported the victim to Beaumont Dearborn Hospital, officials said. Special Investigation Section detectives continue to investigate this incident.
