Metro Detroit Man Charged In Cedar Point Hit-And-Run Accident: Reports

The worker was taken to a nearby hospital where his condition was unknown​, reports said.​​

SANDUSKY, OH — A metro Detroit man was arrested in connection with a hit-and-run accident that injured a Cedar Point parking lot employee last Friday, according to multiple reports.

A witness told police the Cedar Point traffic worker was bending down to pick something up from the ground at 8 p.m. when a Cadillac Escalade hit the worker from behind and ran over both his legs, reports said.

The witness told police he ran up to the Escalade and told the driver to stop, but the man wouldn’t look at him and drove away, reports said.

The worker was taken to a nearby hospital where his condition was unknown, reports said.

Police reviewed surveillance footage from the parking lot and traced the Cadillac Escalade to 26-year-old Riley Brock from Southgate, reports said.

Brock was charged with failing to stop after a crash on private property, which is a fourth-degree felony.
