MICHIGAN SCENTS: ECO-FRIENDLY CANDLES & WARMERS

First and foremost I love Michigan Scents because the founder and owner of the company is my sister-in-law, Kelly Gheesling!

It has been impressive watching Kelly take an idea and turn it into reality. In just three short years she has founded Michigan Scents, created a yummy smelling soy candle line, INVENTED the first ever ceramic electric warmer made in the USA and opened a store front located in Dearborn, MI. Whew – that’s a lot of entrepreneurial-awesomeness packed into three short years.

But besides being a proud sister-in-law, I genuinely love their products! Whenever my petal warmer is on or I’m burning a candle, people will comment on the beautiful scent drifting throughout my home.

The convenient thing about Michigan Scents is they have a store front (21759 Tenny St., Dearborn, MI 48124) AND they sell all of their products online!

Michigan Scents offers tons of products to choose from. Their hand poured, soy candles range from $10-$22. Not only do these candles smell delicious but because they are made from soy so they last longer and burn cleaner.

My personal fav is the petal warmer – which is a wick-less electric wax warmer. There is an initial cost of $30 to purchase the top and base but after that, the petal pods (the wax that you place in the warmer) are only $6! Each pack will last you more than a month if burned on a regular basis. Also, the top of the warmer is interchangeable – that means you can switch up your petal warmer to coordinate with different holidays, seasons or occasions! The warmer tops are $18 each. They even offer a monthly subscription starting at $12.99 per month which includes two new petal pods delivered right to your door!

The vibe of Michigan Scents is summed up in their tag line: make things better – and that’s exactly what they do. This company was built on a love for our country, our community and an eco-friendly way of living…what’s not to love about that?!
