Motor City Brass Band returns with Festival of Bands 6!
It's more than a concert - it's a SHOW! Join us for an fantastic afternoon of brass band music!

Motor City Festival of Bands is back for an incredible sixth year and promises to be another spectacular program. This family-friendly event will feature individual performances from five Michigan concert and brass bands all chosen for their musical excellence. The Festival of Bands will be on Sunday, April 19 at 3 p.m. at the Michael Guido Theatre in Dearborn’s Ford Community & Performing Arts Center (FCPAC).
In addition to Motor City Brass Band with conductor Craig Strain, bands participating this year include Downriver Community Band with conductor Patrick Jensen, Flint Symphonic Wind Ensemble with conductor Roy Johnson, Forest Hills Adult Community Band with conductor Greg Christensen, and Warren Concert Band with conductor Jeremy R. Duby.
Motor City Festival of Bands 6 will begin with separate 20-minute performances by each band. The Festival’s grand finale will feature more than 250 musicians on stage in an exciting series of three major works led by our guest conductor Dr. Max Plank. Dr. Plank served students, music education, and contemporary music for 45 years at Eastern Michigan University, holding Director of Bands from 1979 until 2012.

Tickets are available through the MCBB hotline at $14 for adults, $12 for seniors, $10 for students (21 and under) and free for children 12 and under accompanied by an adult.
