Music for Mission: Teen Vocalists Raise Mission Trip Funds

Local teen vocalists will sing for a mission at 7 p.m. June 22 at Sacred Heart Church in Dearborn, located at Michigan and Military, raising funds for the church youth group’s mission trip July 6 to 12 to Oil City, Pennsylvania.

A free will offering after the recital will benefit the mission trip, followed by a reception in the parish hall.

Maddie Kaplan, who is a Sacred Heart parishioner, and fellow Divine Child High School classmate Alek Papanastasopoulos will sing a repertoire ranging from classical pieces to Broadway show tunes.
