's 2012 graduation ceremony was one the school won't soon forget–especially with special guest commencement speaker Edsel B. Ford II.

But the real stars of the ceremony were the graduates, including Salutatorian Kim Lee and Valedictorian Allison Range.

Lee and Range will be heading to Wayne State University and Michigan Tech this fall, respectively.

Range, who was a sports star and was honored in Dearborn Patch in 2011 for running a marathon at the age of 16, gave her fellow classmates a lesson in fear.

"We fear failure, change, living independently," Range said. "Life will always involve facing fears. We are always changed for the better when we face them."
