Pick Up Blinky for $5 From the Dearborn Animal Shelter

Blinky is no kitten, but this cat is perfectly suited to fit in to any home.

This domestic shorthair cat is five years old, and has a beautiful coat of black fur and big, green eyes. She has just come out of a foster home, where she learned how much fun being around humans could be, and she is ready for her forever family to pick her up from the .

The adoption fee for an adult cat such as Blinky is currently $5. Adoption fees include a basic medical exam, behavior assessment, age-appropriate vaccinations, parasite and worm check, spay or neuter, microchip ID, travel box, cat comforter and cat care information. An optional, but recommended, combination feline AIDS and feline leukemia test (for cats 12 weeks and older) is an additional $20.

Adopters are also eligible for pet insurance from PetFirst HealthCare at an introductory price of $5 for the first month. The price includes accident and illness coverage with any veterinarian.
