The Dearborn City Clerk seeks poll workers for the Democratic Presidential Primary Election on Tuesday, March 10, 2020.

Candidates should be at least 18 years of age, registered voters in Michigan and have basic computer skills. Students who are 16 or 17 years old may also apply.

The position pays $160 for the day and an additional $20 for attending the pre-election instruction class in the week preceding the election. There will be multiple training times and dates to choose from. The hours of work are from 6 a.m. until about 9 p.m. on Election Day.

Duties of the job include helping with the set-up of election equipment, processing voters, offering instructions, saving reports on the computer and assisting with closing the polls.
