Premiere Set for Student-Produced Emmy Winning Films
WDHS, Dearborn High School's multimedia instructional program, will hold first-ever premiere at Michael A. Guido Theater.

DEARBORN, MI – Emmy Award-winning short films and other student film projects produced at Dearborn High School’s WDHS multimedia Instructional programs will be showcased in a first-ever Student Film Festival Premiere later this month.
Films that will be premiered include “Lack of Color,” “Man’s Best Friend,” “Unexplainable Mysteries,” “No Strings Attached” and “The Clown Next Door,” which won an Emmy Award and Best of Show in the Digital Arts Film & Television video competition this year.
“This piece is the quirkiest dark comedy to date, and one of the most unique films to come out of the WDHS Program,” video instructor Kurt Doelle said in a news release.

Categories included long form, public service, animation/graphics, directing, editing, and cinematography. Students in the WDHS program write, shoot, cast, edit, and promote their projects.

Tickets: Advanced tickets available for $7 may be purchased during school hours in Room A-1 at Dearborn High School, 19501 Outer Drive, or by calling (313) 827-1635. Advanced tickets purchased online atwdhsvideo.org cost $8; and same-day tickets will be available at the venue for $9.
